Terms of sale.
Last updated: August 2026
These terms cover a custom production run: what we quote, what starts production, when you pay, and what we are each responsible for. They apply to orders placed through this site and to orders agreed with us over WhatsApp or email.
Who you are contracting with
Toevibe is a trading name of 香港楓葉營養生物科技有限公司, a company registered in Hong Kong SAR. Your contract for any order is with that company.
- Registered address — Rm A25, 17/F, Jing Ho Industrial Building, 78–84 Wang Lung Street, Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong
- Contact — hello@toevibe.com, or +852 9832 4414
- Where the goods are made — our partner mill in Zhuji, Zhejiang. We are the seller; the mill is our supplier, not your counterparty.
What we do
Toevibe manufactures custom products to your artwork — currently socks, knit at our partner mill in Zhuji, Zhejiang. Everything is made to order for you alone; we hold no stock of your design.
Images on this site, and any preview generated in the design studio, are concept visualisations. They show layout and intent, not a photograph of the finished item.
Prices and quotes
- Prices are per pair and DDP — freight and import duties to the agreed destination are already inside the figure. Nothing further is owed on delivery.
- Prices fall by quantity. The price you see in the order builder for a run of up to 500 pairs is the price we will honour, provided the specification does not change.
- Runs over 500 pairs are quoted by hand before any payment, because freight and material planning stop being formulaic at that size.
- Some options carry a premium we quote individually rather than showing a figure we would have to revise — our exclusive grass blend is one. Where that applies, the builder says so instead of taking payment.
- Quotes given by hand are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise, and assume the specification quoted.
Minimums
Digital print runs from a single pair — there is no minimum to get something made. Quantity pricing begins at 30 pairs, and each further tier drops the per-pair price.
Jacquard knitting is quoted by inquiry; it carries its own setup and an indicative minimum around 200 pairs.
Your artwork
You confirm at upload: “I confirm that I own the rights to the uploaded design, or am authorized to use it, and I take full responsibility for its use. Toevibe may decline artwork that infringes third-party intellectual property.”
You keep ownership of your artwork. You grant us a license to use it only to produce your order. We will not show your finished work publicly without your permission.
We do not vet artwork for third-party rights, and we cannot. If we decline artwork before production, anything you have paid is refunded in full.
Approval starts production
- Design work is free and unlimited. We lay your artwork out and revise it as many times as you like, at no cost.
- Nothing goes on the machines until you approve the final artwork in writing. Approval is what starts the clock, not the order or the payment.
- A physical sample is available on request, off the machine in about 3 days, and it is free. We knit it, then photograph and film it for you — the sample itself is not posted. This is the only reliable way to judge color, and the run waits until you approve it.
Payment
- 30% deposit to start production; the remaining 70% is due against the tracking number, before the parcel ships.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Other methods — bank transfer, Western Union — can be arranged; ask and we will invoice you.
- All amounts are in US dollars— that is what we quote, charge and invoice. At checkout Stripe may show and take the equivalent in your own currency; your card statement will then show that figure, converted at Stripe's rate. The order itself is still priced in USD.
- Any bank or intermediary charges on a transfer are yours.
- We may hold shipping until the balance clears. Goods remain ours until the order is paid in full.
Lead times
From artwork approval: about 3 days in production plus roughly 7 days in the air — around 10 days door to door.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Customs, carrier delays and public holidays are outside our control. If you have a hard date, tell us before you order so we can say honestly whether we can hold it.
What normal production looks like
Minor color variation inherent to production is not a defect. Yarn, dye lots and the way ink or thread sits on a knitted surface all shift color slightly, and a screen cannot show that. Approve a sample and the run is matched to the sample.
Small differences in placement or size within normal production tolerance are likewise not defects. Anything that makes the item unwearable, or visibly different from what you approved, is — see our refund policy.
Delivery
We deliver DDP to the address you give us. Please check it: we cannot refund a parcel lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address, though we will always help you trace it. If a carrier bills you for duties anyway, send us the invoice and we will reimburse it.
Risk passes to you on delivery. You are responsible for any import license or product registration your own country requires.
Cancellation, faults and refunds
Custom goods carrying your artwork cannot be returned for change of mind. The deposit is refundable before production starts and not after. Faults or goods that do not match the approved artwork are remade at our cost within 14 days of delivery. The full position is in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost contracts, or the cost of an event the goods were intended for.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing affects rights you have under the consumer law of your own country.
Governing law
These terms and any order placed under them are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
The courts of Hong Kong SAR have jurisdiction over any dispute, on a non-exclusive basis — meaning either of us may also bring a claim in a court that has jurisdiction over you, which keeps a buyer from having to travel to enforce a small claim.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The version published when you place an order is the one that governs it. Questions: hello@toevibe.com, quoting your reference (it looks like TV-260805-123).
